Evening people!I'm back! Missing a week feels so weird, which would make this #31 to be fair? But I'm just going to put on my blinders and ignore that I ever missed a week hahaa.2k Followers! <3A massive milestone I have to thank you all for!It's amazing to see so many people connecting and following the work that I do and kind of makes me even more anxious to get back into the thick of it hahaa.But thanks so much for all the support! I am planning a lot of others things to support the community, but more on that when the time arrives! :DMoving strugglesA lot has been going on in the last weeks, we had a super busy time going back and forth between multiple viewings all over Berlin, and then in the evenings when we got home we were just calling more people for even more viewings this all meant that we barely had time to explore the city (but we can do that soon enough anyways) I really underestimated how much work all this would take to be honest, and making matters worse we had our eye on an apartment (which was really cheap as well) and then we got told that our income is not enough to pay for such a place, even though our previous rent was almost double and my salary is bigger.That was a big disappointment because we had our eyes set on this specific one and the other apartments that we viewed are way more expensive for less space, then because we only got a response in 2 days over mail we decided to call them but got no real response and got told to wait on a mail (which was just a quote from the first one)So that means that now with the start date coming up our options are even more limited than they were before, which is why we are looking for a short-let furnished option first so we can get settled and take it easy for a bit while we get all the right things in order so we can go looking for some apartments when we are there on our own time.So yeeeah, last week was super stressful and I underestimated every aspect of this move. But at least we know what to keep in mind and look for now, and next time when/if we move, we are hopefully not going to have to do it so fast and plan a bit more beforehand!Being back home (in my parental home) has made me less productive, which I kinda expected but also didn't expect to be this "bad" but I guess with all the stuff happening in my life it is kind of expected. And I take this period as a nice and welcome break so that when we move into our apartment I can go into my personal and professional work with full vigor!Looking forward to that!,
