Timothy been working in games for around 10 years now, working for companies such as Frontier Developments, Ubisoft and Playground Games. He's been chasing his dreams of creating immersive worlds.
Sunny is at the helm of organisation for Beyond Academy and Team Challenges. She is a content producer and product manager with a background in design, digital visuals, and engagement, and has experience within indie and AA game development in both 3D and Generalist roles. A fan of PvP shooters, she has a soft spot for hard surface modelling.
Josh leads Workshop organizing for the community. His efforts cover planning, outreach, and everything in between, up to making sure it all runs smoothly on the day. He's a freelance environment artist with a background in project management and IT consulting, and has worked with indie devs along the way. Shaped by classics like Silent Hill 2, Deus Ex, and Mass Effect, he's drawn to realistic and sometimes gritty environments with a sense of history.
For most of my professional career companies have never looked at my education but focused purely on my portfolio and my skills that I brought to the table. However, this very much depends on how many options you currently have in moving between countries or applying for a visa, which is something your portfolio can't help with.
We can help you with crafting/improving your environment art portoflio and get you a job in the country you live in or don't need a visa for. But formal education that is diploma based is still recommended if you want to increase your chances of getting a sucessful VISA Application.
Even in the latter we can help your improve your portfolio, so even if you are doing full time education, we can act as a multiplier to help you to new hights.
